Stones Ltd. was incorporated on January 5, 1996.
The company is a joint venture between Fortune International
Ltd. and the M. P. State Mining Corporation, an entity
of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. The Primary
objective of this company is to explore & develop the
mineral wealth of the state of Madhya Pradesh, particularly
the granites and marbles.
The company has been leased three
mining areas near Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh as follows:
- Kathara Mines: 30.436 Hectares.
- Hardwar Mines: 44.645 Hectares.
- Gadi Malhara Mines: 50.000 Hectare

RED
GRANITE MINING
We are currently mining red granite at our Kathara and
Hardwar sites. Our monthly production of Fortune Red
blocks is over 500 Cubic Meters per month at our Kathara
mines and the production of Kunal Red blocks is around
100 Cubic Meters per month at our Hardwar mines. We
have shown a consistent growth of over 45% per year
in terms of turnover as well as revenues.
GREEN
MARBLE MINING
The company has three operational Green Marble Mines,
having a total mining lease area of 220,000 square meters
at Masaron Ki Obri, Odwas & Bhutala. These areas
occupy the heart of the Udaipur Green Marble Belt. These
mines are also fully mechanized and scientifically developed
with modern machineries like chain saws, wire saws,
massive daric cranes, tippers and excavators etc.
Our green marble quarries produce, more
than 100,000 MT of Green Marble blocks per year.

one of the youngest & the most professional suppliers
in the industry, the company through its highly trained
and motivated team has developed over the years to become
one of the prominent suppliers in the international
as well as the domestic market.
A team of highly proficient and qualified
manpower work day and night to produce the best quality
of granites. Our well organized logistics system ensures
minimum lead time from quarry to the ultimate destination.
The growth of our organization is based on flexibility
and close personal relationship with our customers worldwide.
We have been exporting our material to
the most quality conscious international markets like
China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Spain,
USA, Europe, Africa as well as in the Middle East. Besides
our domestic customer base includes almost all granite
processors in North India, who have been regularly sourcing
material from us  over
the years. This includes processors in Kishangarh, Pali,
Jalore, Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur.
In our endeavor to serve our ever expanding
customer base, we have established our own Processing
Plant near Indore at the Pithampur Industrial Area with
80 Blade Gang Saw make which is fully computerized with
slurry analyzer "compass" system and hydraulic
blade stretcher.

of Italy, here the slabs are automatically loaded
and unloaded from the polishing line with automated
equipment from Breton. To ensure optimum water usage,
an elaborate filtration system has also been installed
at the factory. The objective of this expansion is to
maintain the leading position in the Indian natural
stone arena and to give the best to the world scattered
prestigious clients.
SOCIAL
WELFARE
We are also running a small medical facility with a
doctor in the Kathara village. This is not only helpful
to our workers, but also to the local as well as neighboring
villagers, since there is no other medical facility
within a 10 Kms. radius.
OTHER
VENTURES
Considering the growth potential in the East European
block we have established a Joint Venture in Hungary.
Our Hungarian joint venture, India Granit Galeria
Kft, Hungary., is a partnership with a local Hungarian
company which has been in the stone business for over
25 years. They are also ideally located on the border
of Hungary & Slovakia. The primary objective of
this company is to market Indian granites to builders
& developers in East European countries like Slovakia,
Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Croatia, etc.
This gives us a ready platform to sell our processed
material.
